Hanoi - Vietnam will cut prices at hotels and on state-owned Vietnam Airlines by 30 to 50 per cent to boost the country's tourism industry, hit hard by the worldwide economic slowdown, senior tourism officials said Friday.

JAL expects fewer holiday passengers

Japan Airlines is forecasting a decline in available seats to Hawaii during the Japanese New Year period. JAL expects a 4.8 percent decline in overall available seats, compared to the same period last year, which runs from Dec. 26 through Jan. 4, 2009.

Korean Air will add seats to Hawaii
